A week later...

I cannot believe that I haven't blogged in a week. How disappointing is that?

I am just having one of those weeks where I am being introspective, where my feelings get hurt really easily (more easily than usual), and I am just having a moment where I just focus on the negative. I know that I love to see myself in my son, but I feel horrible that one of the traits that I have passed on to him is the ability to be easily hurt by others. While he has the biggest heart and has the ability to have empathy in most situations, my heart aches for him when he feels less than adequate.

I so wish that I could be more like my Dad when I am having weeks like this. He tends to be pretty laid back. Little things don't seem to bother him. He doesn't make plans...which can drive a person crazy when others want to.

I don't know what I expected when I started blogging. Maybe at least one person who admitted to reading?

I feel like I have made a decent attempt to meet new people in my area and thought blogging would help me to reach people who have similar interests to mine. It just gets frustrating when I can't even meet my tiniest of expectations.

Well, on to more important business.

I got a big box in the mail at the end of last week. With all of the rain, I hesitated to take it out and put it together. What could it be? My first attempt at raising animals:

Honey Bee

I got my honey bee hive! I'll get my bees at the beginning of June. I was so excited about this for a few months, but just got all blah about everything last week.

Time to get ready for my bees. I will have to go pick them up before I know it!
